PETERSBURG, IL --...says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on
their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah
31:33b
"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can,
in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you
can, as long as ever you can." (John Wesley)
Bringing Hope to flood victims and we need your help!
We at Central Presbyterian Church (CPC) are asking you and your organization
to work in partnership with us to volunteer to work at clean up and to raise
funds to provide disaster assistance support in follow-up to victims of the
2008 floods. We want to bring hope to those impacted by this disaster after
the media attention turns to other stories. We can do more collectively
than we can individually.
We have scheduled some tentative day trips to help with the flood disaster
recovery. Sign up is necessary in case of need to cancel the trip due to
weather or other circumstances.
Tuesday, August 12
Wednesday, August 27
Wednesday, August 20
Saturday, August 30
Saturday, August 23
There are forms that must be completed in order for volunteers to
participate as well as important information about volunteering! Contact
Central Presbyterian Church at 632-2651 to get a 'volunteer packet' or check
